Sayin it like it is, and spamming twitter with it



This is what a twitter spammer looks like. You can block them, and that is what I do, but you know, I paused at this guy's bio. I mean, he's getting at the core of the human condition in five words there.

Pithy.

    I sometimes wonder if I'm a twitter spammer. I respond to people, and say what I'm doing, but the thing I'm most excited about is my blog, so I link that.There should be a word for worthwhile spam. Spame? Now I want to click on this guy's link but I don't want to be spammed. Or DO I?

    K, your blog is a labour of love. This guy has accepted spam as his personal saviour. Are you beginning to see the difference?

    Puts me in mind of a (fill-in-the-blanks) sentence I recall from an Italian phrasebook: "I would like a (larger) (cheaper) (cleaner) room (with a view)." Wouldn't we all?

    Funny you mention that, Sheila. I have just booked a hotel room for my parents, and I put in a special request for just such a room. In English. We wait.
